Throughout 2024 we will be stitching a different flower each month inspired by the book 'Wayside and Woodland Blossoms' by Edward Step
A Year of Woodland Blossoms Stitch A Long
Amongst the many old books I have on my bookshelf is ' Wayside and Woodland Blossoms' by Edward Step - there are many different copies of this beautiful book and the one I own was published in the 1930's. The illustrations of the very many flowers are a stitchers delight and I couldn't resist using some of my favourites to stitch up this yearly design.
Stitching starts January 2024.
Each month, for 12 months you will be able to access a full tutorial which details the colour and stitch guide for a particular segment of the pattern and I will guide you through the sequence of stitching.
There is no time limit for completing the pattern as you will be able to access the tutorials on your own personal dashboard within the studio when you sign up.
A Stitch a Long is not intended as a 'how to' for individual stitches. If you need help with any stitches as you go along, links will be provided and you can always ask in the FB group.
A Fabulous Year of Stitching
