FAQ

  • What is a Stitch A Long

Basically a whole lot of fun! You will be stitching a design over a set period of time. The design is broken down into sections and each section is stitched in sequence. It's a great way for stitchers to enjoy stitching the same design alongside others, sharing progress and getting help along the way.

  • Do I need to be experienced at Hand embroidery to join in

Not at all! We welcome stitchers of all levels. A Stitch A Long doesn’t provide you with the step by step instructions for the stitches themselves – it is a tutorial on how to stitch the pattern design – colours, techniques and stitches used however there will be links and guidance on where to go if a stitch is unfamiliar. Jumping in with a design you love is the perfect way to learn.

  • Will there be help along the way

Most certainly! We have a fabulous and friendly Happy Stitching FB Group which you will be very welcome to join - stitchers of all levels enjoy sharing progress and you can ask any questions - nothing is too simple and everyone is very happy to help.

  • Are the tutorials only accessible online?

Yes. The stitch A Longs are all provided online for you to follow along with.
